Douglas County is located in Central Minnesota. It is named for Stephen A. Douglas. The seat and largest city is Alexandria.
It borders Otter Tail, Todd, Stearns, Pope, Stevens and Grant County.
Main Highways include I-94/US-52, MN-27, MN-29, MN-55 and MN-114.
